Carper Propane is a locally owned, family-operated business based in Ashley, IN. We are proud to be one of the area’s fastest-growing propane companies—and we owe that success to you, our valued customers.

Our family business began in 1972 with the establishment of Carper Farm Supply, Inc. Our goal was simple: to provide local farmers with the products, services, and support they needed.

As our community grew, so did we. We expanded our business by opening Carper Pro Hardware, allowing us to serve an even greater part of the community with a wider variety of products and services.

In addition to our farm supply and hardware operations, we have continued to expand our services to meet the needs of local customers and businesses. Today, we also operate a hydraulic hose and fittings shop, providing custom hydraulic hose assemblies, fittings, and related services for agricultural, industrial, construction, and other equipment.

In 2009, Carper Propane was established after we recognized a need for a local, customer-focused alternative to large corporate propane suppliers. We believed our community deserved fair pricing, dependable service, and a company that truly cared about its customers and their home heating needs.
